Gangsta Granny: The Ride

Playing a key role in welcoming The World of David Walliams to Alton Towers Resort, members of the team who would later start Magna Studios were responsible for the technical design of numerous sets within the ride, along with the ride’s façade—blending architectural detailing with whimsical storytelling. CNC components were developed and produced for the building’s façade, and 3D scans were carried out for replication and reproduction of existing architectural elements to ensure continuity and accuracy within the themed environment.

These team members also led the design, coordination, and manufacture of custom signage, aligning with the attraction’s playful visual identity and ensuring a bold, cohesive finish that captures the humour and charm of the Gangsta Granny universe.
